Who I am...

Greetings! I’m Kimberly Williamson, a grateful believer in Jesus Christ, finding solace and strength in my faith journey. Raised in the heart of southwest Missouri within the embrace of a Southern Baptist community, my path has been woven with both challenges and triumphs, all guided by a divine hand.

Growing up under the part-time care of my single mother amidst the harsh environment of my emotionally unavailable grandparents’ home, resilience became my ally. Through the twists and turns of life, including navigating through turbulent relationships, I’ve come to realize the power of surrendering to God’s plan.

Like Moses in the wilderness, I wandered until a pivotal moment of clarity led me to Colorado, where I began to rediscover my faith. In the midst of seeking, I encountered Gary, my steadfast companion and now husband, whose presence has been a testament to God’s grace and guidance.

With Gary by my side, my spiritual journey gained momentum. I found purpose in serving others, from working in human services to embarking on mission trips, all the while recognizing God’s hand orchestrating each step.

My departure from a long-term career was met with uncertainty, but through prayer, I embraced the conviction that God had greater plans in store. Since then, I’ve dedicated my endeavors to following His lead, whether it’s through volunteerism, ministry, teaching, or entrepreneurial pursuits.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” serves as a beacon of assurance, reminding me of God’s promise of prosperity, hope, and a future filled with His divine presence. Today, I stand as an ordained minister, an advocate for education and healthcare in Uganda, an instructor for life-saving techniques, and a proud parent and grandparent, cherishing every blessing bestowed upon me.

This website and the accompanying blog are testaments to God’s unwavering love and guidance, shaping every aspect of my life. Join me as I continue to walk in faith, embracing each opportunity to serve and glorify His name.

SERENITY PRAYER

GOD, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

The courage to change the things I  can;

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as a pathway to peace;

Taking, as JESUS did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that HE will make all things right If I surrender to HIS will;

So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with HIM Forever in the next.

AMEN
